Description
Phoenix Services is currently hiring CNC Operators/Machinists for a manufacturing company located in Holland, OH! This 1st shift position has the potential to go permanent for the right reliable individuals!
Hours and Pay
- 1st Shift | Monday – Friday | 7:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.
- Trains on 1st shift
- Must be able to work any shift
- $18-23/hr
Responsibilities Include
- Reviewing routing and set up specifications to determine setup procedure, machining sequence, and dimensions
- Able to interpret blueprints and other specifications to determine product requirements
- Assemble cutting tools in tool holders and position in machine spindles as specified using hand tools or insert cutting tools
- Adjust machine speeds and feeds and change the tooling to machine parts according to specifications
- Identifies workmanship and material defects and deficiencies and initiates program changes when required
Requirements
- Accurate measurement skills with micrometers, calipers, dial indicators, gauges, and go/no go tools
- Ability to set up machines and run the job with limited supervision
- Basic math and computing knowledge
- Ability to meet production requirements as specified
