Phoenix Industrial Services is hiring for a General Labor position in the River Rouge, Michigan area. Our client has been involved in the scrap metal industry since 1971. At their River Rouge location they work with aluminum scrap and turn it into products that can be utilizes by their customers. Apply today to learn more about this resourceful company!
This is a full-time job. Shifts will rotate between first and second shift, 12 hours worked each shift, and rotate 4 days on and 4 days off. Benefits include health insurance and PTO. You will be rewarded for good job performance and attendance with a permanent position within the company. Starting pay is $12.00 per hour.
What you would be doing
The General Labor position is a hands-on role, working mostly outside sorting through the scrap material. You will be very integral to the metal reclaiming and smelting process.

If you are looking for an opportunity to work outside of the office, this position would be perfect for you! Training is available, but if you are familiar with the metal recycling process that would be a plus. Additional skills necessary are dependability, solid work ethic, and good attitude. Ability to safely lift 75lbs is necessary for this role.
