Human Resource Assistant-Tiffin

Salary: 38k starting with performance increases

Mon.-Friday

7AM-4PM or 8AM-5PM (you choose)

Phoenix Staffing, LTD is currently recruiting and searching for a highly motivated candidate to join the HR team for a well-established company located in Tiffin, Ohio.  This exciting opportunity would be excellent for someone who is willing to Cross Train and assist with all duties in the HR Department. Phoenix Staffing is recruiting for a candidate who has attention to detail, excellent communications, leadership, Computer, Onboarding, training and development experience.  This position will require the HR Assistant to report to Upper Management and supporting team members.

 

Duties and Responsibilities:

 

  • Under the direction of the companies HR Manager the candidate chosen will perform, but not limited to the following:

 

  • Partners with employees and management to communicate various human resource policies, procedures, laws, standards and government regulations
  • Willingness to cross train in other Accounting areas of the company
  • Payroll & Maintaining adjustments for employee accounts, including deductions
  • Assist with keeping all personal related details up-to-date and accurate in the personnel files
  • Assist HR Manager in Benefits, Administration, and Compensation.
  • Communicate, recommend, &  and administer all benefits, including, but not limited to, health, life insurance, vacations, 401k, holidays and other paid benefits
  • Eagerly promotes Safe Work Practices
  • Preparing Disciplinary Action Write-ups for Plant Supervisors

Education and Experience:

 

  • Associates degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
  • 3-5 years of experience within an HR environment
  • Background in manufacturing environment is preferred
