Phoenix Services is currently hiring an Industrial Maintenance Technician for a well-established steel company located near North Toledo. This is an amazing opportunity to help expand your career.

Hours and Pay:

- Full-Time, Temporary to Hire

- $28-35/hr

- Monday – Friday with possible overtime

- 2nd or 3rd Shift availability (Must be able to train on 1st Shift for a period of 2-8 weeks)

Responsibilities:

For this position you will be working within a team (or alone) to complete tasks to ensure that equipment is inspected to perform correctly. You will complete any repairs or perform preventative maintenance to ensure the process of the facility runs smoothly. The ideal candidate will be skilled with various hand and power tools, a strong awareness of safety procedures, and have a strong background in maintenance. You will also oversee contractors when professional repairs are necessary, troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical issues, and other duties may be assigned by supervisors.

Requirements

- Prior experience working in a maintenance role

- Strong attention to detail

- Strong organizational skills

- Ability to work alone to complete tasks

- Ability to disassemble machines, equipment, or devices to remove and replace defective parts

- Ability to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment

- Basic computer skills (Outlook, Internet browsers, Excel)

- Ability to be on-call outside of business hours

- Preferred experience maintaining CO2 lasers, waterjets, and hydraulic experience

- Ability to lift up to 70lbs

- Ability to sit, stand, climb, and bend for prolonged periods of time

- Ability to read technical diagrams and blueprints
